REACH国際芸術文化祭の中止 〜 REACH CONFERENCE CANCELLED
新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大により、皆さんに大きな影響が出ていることと思います。
大変残念ですが、2020年6月に予定していましたREACH国際芸術文化祭は新型コロナウイルスの世界的な感染拡大により中止となりました。ご参加・ご協力を予定されていた皆様には大変申し訳ございませんが、また次の機会にお目にかかるのを楽しみにしております。

We are sad to inform you that due to the global ongoing spread of COVID-19 the REACH International Arts & Sports Festival on June 27, 2020 has been cancelled. The effects of COVID-19 in our daily lives is being felt around the globe. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope wherever you are this summer you are able to make, share, and build community in creative ways.

2020年、オリンピックが開催される東京に、世界中の人々が注目しています。この機会に、私たちコミュニティーアーツ東京はスポーツと芸術のフェスティバルを開催いたします。
どうしてアスリートたちは想像を絶する血と汗と涙を流しながら、時間やお金をかけて様々な犠牲を払うのでしょうか。どこに向かい、何を追求しているのでしょうか。アスリートやアーティストだけではなく、世界中の人々が、限界を超えたその先にある何かを追求しています。
国際芸術文化祭2020には、スポーツやアートの世界で活躍中の方々が来日し、何を追求しているのかを語ります。それらが個人的に、社会的にどのようにつながるのかを一緒に考えましょう。皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。

In 2020, the eyes of the world will be focused on Japan as the Olympics Games come to Tokyo. To celebrate this event, we will be hosting an arts and sports festival with artists and athletes from around the world.
What keeps artists and athletes going through the blood, sweat, and tears? Sacrificing so much in terms of injury, time, money? What are they pursuing? Not just artists and athletes but all humanity seeks something beyond, something transcendent. In this conference, we explore this fundamental characteristic of humanity, our common pursuit of beauty, and how it plays out in every area of our lives. We look forward to seeing you there!
