LIVING IN FULL VIEW OF THE GOD OF GRACE

See the God of grace clearly...

One crisp fall morning, a beautiful snow-capped Mt. Fuji stands out against the clear blue sky. As you drive closer, the shape and color becomes even more distinguishable and awe-inspiring. Then suddenly, something takes your enjoyment away. A line of trees completely block your view of the mountain. You try to look around, over, and through the trees, but you cannot see the mountain even though you know it is still there.

What if the beautiful mountain you are trying to enjoy is the God of grace? What are the “trees” in your life that block your view of this amazing God?

God is the source of all beauty, yet so many struggles and challenges in life can block your view of him. Bruce Young, life-long missionary to the Japanese, identifies these obstacles while showing how to once again live in full view of the God of grace. #livinginfullview

What people are saying…

“In every chapter, I feel like this writer understands my heart.” —A

“Although what you wrote is wonderfully tailored to the Japanese culture and mind, I also have benefited and been blessed (and convicted) in my own personal life as well.” —J

“The men were encouraged and spent time talking about the grace of God. Mr. Y read, ‘Faith in God's gift of grace is what will change our hearts,’ and felt like he learned something new about grace.” –W

“Mr. I told me how your book seemed especially necessary for someone like him and that it's been such an encouragement for him. He's coming to a new realization of God as his loving Father. He also said it's the first time he realized what it means to be 'adopted' as God's son since the Japanese are not familiar with adoption.” —J

“The book is so needed for the Japanese, but I find that the content is very appropriate for our culture here as well.  I cannot recommend it highly enough.  Bruce, thank you!” —K

“This morning God gave me time to read your book; a blessed time. Thank you!” —D

“I recently finished your book; it's sooo good! I just want to get copies for everyone! I have already been recommending it to many of my Japanese acquaintances and I'm thinking of how I could start a new Bible study using it.” —J

GRACE 20/20

GRACE 20/20 takes you on a 90–day journey of each region of Japan, highlighting areas to pray for in all 47 prefectures, 23 special wards of Tokyo, and 20 topics of special interest. As we gain a 20/20 vision of grace for the cities and prefectures and learn more about the beauty and challenges in each of these areas, our hearts are drawn deeper into prayer.

While we probably will not be able to physically walk and pray through the whole length of Japan together, there is another option. GRACE 20/20 includes a guided prayer walk along the "Circle of Flowers," a scenic 5 km jogging path around the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. Markers for every prefecture from Hokkaido to Okinawa are embedded in the route at regular intervals of 0.1 km. With this book in hand, let's make that journey together.

Aroma of Beauty

What would you do if a natural disaster decimated a huge part of your country?

After Japan’s catastrophic Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, Roger Lowther’s family and community found themselves reeling from a series of devastating blows: magnitude 9.0 earthquake, monstrous 120 foot tsunami, exploding nuclear power plants, tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands homeless. How can you demonstrate God’s presence and goodness to people living in devastation around you? How do you find hope in the middle of so much despair?

In the aftermath of one of the worst natural disasters in history, music had a healing power never dreamed possible. An electrifying sense of hope, almost tangible, wafted through the air. In those moments, beauty won over fear and despair. These stories of the aroma of God’s beauty and presence in the aftermath and devastation will encourage you, inspire you, and change you. #aromaofbeauy

PIPPY THE PIANO AND THE VERY BIG WAVE

After a tsunami strikes the city of Kamaishi, Japan, a church finds their beloved piano upside down and covered in a big pile of mud and debris. Rather than throw it out, they decide to spend the enormous amounts of time and money necessary to fix it.

Inspired by a true story, Pippy the Piano and the Very Big Wave helps children understand the meaning of redemption.
